Update HTTP and L4xNAT profiles

This section enables users to edit or change, and update various configurations of the LSLB farms. Each farm profile has different parameters since each manages its own traffic through the layers of the OSI model. So the available configuration parameters are described as follows:

There are two kinds of views available in the Global Settings:

Basic. These are general parameters related to the farm profile. You can modify basic parameters like the Farm Name (only if the farm is stopped) or Virtual IP and Port where the farm is handling incoming traffic.
Advanced. Additional parameters related to the farm profile. Here you can modify parameters related to traffic behavior.

Global Settings for L4xNAT Farm Profile

The L4xNAT farm profile allows the creation of an LSLB farm at layer 4 with very high performance and much more concurrent connections than load balancer cores in layer 7 like the HTTP farm profile. Layer 4 performance improvement is in opposition to the advanced content handling that the layer 7 farm profile could manage.

Additionally, the L4xNAT farm profile could bind a range of ports, not only one virtual port as is used with the layer 7 farm profile.

Go to the L4xNAT settings configuration.

Global Settings for HTTP Farm Profile

This profile manages content switching at the HTTP layer 7 application delivery for both HTTP and HTTPS protocols.

Go to the HTTP settings configuration.
