This section describes how to update and modify a Virtual interface.

Global Settings

In this section you can configure the following attributes on the Virtual interface:

Name. System name for the virtual interface. Not editable.
MAC. MAC address that is assigned to a certain virtual interface. Not editable.
IP Address. IP address assigned to a given interface. Support IPv4 and IPv6.
Netmask. Network mask assigned to the virtual interface.
Gateway. Default gateway used by the virtual interface.
Virtual Interface tag. Identification to be used by the virtual interface. Not editable.
Alias. Interface alias.

To apply the changes click on the Update button. When the configuration is updated the virtual interface is brought up.
