This section explains how to create a virtual interface and the different options available.

Create Virtual Interface

Find below the detailed options to create a virtual interface.

zevenet network virtual interface create

Parent Interface. Set a NIC, Bonding or VLAN interface as parent where the Virtual Interface will be configured.
Name. Set a name to identify the new Virtual Interface, the name starts with the name of the Parent Interface followed by the virtual interface name ID to be used, and they are separated with a colon character.
Address. Set an IPv4 address for the new virtual interface. Netmask and Gateway will be inherited from the parent interface.

Once all the required changes are done, press the Create button to create the new virtual interface.
