Embracing Open Source future

At Zevenet we acknowledge the relevance of educating our future engineers in the Open Source way of thinking, way of developing.
Therefore we found really interesting supporting the “Concurso Universitario de Software Libre” which stands for Open Source Competition at the University of Seville by becoming their main sponsors.

This initiative encourage a wide range of students from high school to college to participate in a riveting challenge by developing software, hardware or documentation regarding Open Source which would be uploaded to GitHub or LaunchPad platform .

We want to boost Open Source among students interested in tech, reward their curiosity and broad their knowledge about Open Source. The relevance of accessibility, auditability and improvement of a software code is highlighted in this competition.

Cultivating future developers for a better tech, means improving their education from an early stage and the need of others to support them. Reason why from Zevenet, we promote this opportunity to any other organisation who wants to collaborate with education regarding Open Source culture.
