This section describes how to update and modify a Bonding interface. There are two main panels: Configure Slaves to select the enabled slaves among the available ones and Global Settings in order to configure the interface.

Configure Slaves

The configure slaves panel allows to make changes in regards to the Available Slaves in the system and the Enabled Slaves that will be used to take part in a given bonding interface.

Select the interface or interfaces you want to add or remove from the bonding interface and click on the arrow to apply the changes.

Global Settings

In this section you can configure the following attributes on the bonding interface:

Name. System name for the bonding interface. Not editable.
MAC. MAC address that is assigned to a certain bonding. Not editable.
IP Address. IP address assigned to a given interface. Support IPv4 and IPv6.
Netmask. Network mask in IPv4 format currently assigned to the NIC that can be edited. For IPv6 use CIDR format (0 to 128).
Gateway. Default gateway used by the bonding.
Mode. Bonding mode to be used. Not editable.
Alias. Interface alias.

IPv4 and IPv6 stacks are supported, take into account that the Netmask and Gateway must be configured in the same stack than the IP. Once all the required changes are done, press the Update button to apply the new changes. Once the configuration is updated the bonding interface is brought up.
